BeiDou Precise Orbit and Attitude Modelling for PPP-RTK

Beidou-POD

The objective of the BeiDou-POD research project was the development of a precise orbit determination (POD) system for the BeiDou satellite constellation.

The objective of the BeiDou-POD research project was the development of a precise orbit determination (POD) system for the BeiDou satellite constellation.

The research's primarily focus is on the development of an enhanced POD model of the major error sources that impact the GNSS orbit quality: the solar radiation pressure (SRP) and the satellite attitude modelling of the BeiDou satellites.

A new satellite atitude algorithm has been developed and proposed for modelling the atitude during the eclipse seasons.

The project was a collaboration between Aalborg University, Geoscience Australia, Cooperative Research Centre for Spatial Information, and Frontier-SI.
