In the ACS project, research was carried out in order to establish a real-time satellite-based precise positioning system. The ACS provides the backbone of the Australian National Positioning System and the future GNSS data analysis centre supporting the satellite constellations of GPS, Galileo, Beidou and GLONASS systems.

The GNSS data processing and analysis software deals the objectives of GNSS precise orbit determination, satellite clocks errors estimation, ionosphere and troposhere global modelling and precise point positioning.
